Ingredients

Crumb mixture: 2-cups flour, 2-cups uncooked quick oats

1-1/2 cups sugar

1-1/4 cups unsalted butter, softened

1 12 oz can cherry pie filling

1-t almond extract

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all crumb ingredients in a large bowl. Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 1-1/2 cups crumb mixture. Press the remaining crumbs in a 13X9 baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 or until edges are lightly browned. Combine filling ingredients and spread over the hot, partially baked crust. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and continue baking 25-30 minutes.
