Ingredients

6 medium potatoes

1 medium onion

Cheddar cheese, shredded

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Wash and peel potatoes. Cut potatoes in rounds and place in Pyrex baking dish. Peel and dice one onion and sprinkle over potatoes. Dot top of potatoes with butter. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover with foil and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Just before serving, cover with cheese and bake until melted.
