Ingredients

1 lb potatoes, frozen hash brown

1/4 c butter, softened

1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup

1 c cheddar cheese, shredded

1/8 tsp black pepper

1 c sour cream

1/4 c onion, chopped

1 c cornflakes, crushed

1/8 c butter, melted

Preparation

Grease a casserole dish. Combine cornflakes and melted better. Mix together other ingredients and put into casserole dish. Sprinkle top with cornflakes mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Experiment with additional ingredients such as jalapeno peppers.
