Ingredients

1 c instant grits

2 sticks margarine

1 tsp salt

1 qrt milk

4-6 oz. gruyere cheese

1/4 c parmesan cheese

Preparation

Stir 1 c. grits into 1 qt scalded milk with 1 tsp salt and 1 stick margarine. Cook until thick (10-12 mins). Pour into 13x8x2 in pan. Chill overnight. Cut into squares and loosen . Sprinkle over top, 3 triangles gruyere cheese (approx. 4-6 oz.) and ¼ c parmesan cheese. Pour melted butter over top - about one stick. Bake @ 375 degrees for 40 min. Serves 8.
