Ingredients

3 sticks butter

8 oz. cream cheese

3 cups sugar

6 eggs

3+ cups plain flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

  1. Prepare tube pan with Crisco & flour or non-stick spray and set aside.
  2. Cream together butter, cream cheese, and sugar.
  3. Add 2 eggs and a little flour and mix well.
  4. Alternate adding eggs and flour until all are mixed well.
  5. Add vanilla.
  6. Pour evenly into tube pan.
  7. Put in cold oven.
  8. Turn oven to 300 degrees.
  9. Bake for one and a half hours.
  10. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove from pan and allow to cool completely.
