Ingredients
2 cups of milk
1 tbs Indian tea
2 twists of black pepper from a pepper mill
3/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
5 cardamom pods crushed in a mortar
fresh ginger, about the size of a quarter, crushed
2 tsp sugar (hold back until end)
Preparation
Put all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes.
Then add 1/2 cup more milk and simmer for 5 more minutes.
Strain, add 2 tsp sugar, and serve.
Alternatively, put ingredients in steaming carafe, steam everything using espresso machine, add sugar, strain, and serve.
