Ingredients

Dry mix:

2 cups uncooked quick oats

2 cups Rice Krispies

1/2 cup cashews (salted & roasted)

1/2 cup sunflower seed kernels (salted & roasted)

1/4 cup raisins

1/4 cup Craisins (dried sweetened cranberries)

1/2 cup other dried fruits (prunes, figs, mangos)

1/4 cup toasted wheat germ

Wet mix:

1/2 cup creamy almond butter

1/4 cup agave nectar

1/4 cup honey

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Crush the cashews in a paper towel with a rolling pin. Cut the dried fruit to raisin sized pieces. Get a 9x12 or 10x13 dish ready with some non-stick spray. Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Separate any sticky fruit pieces. Put the remaining ingredients into a Pyrex cup and microwave for two minutes. Stir well and pour into bowl with dry ingredients. Fold with a spatula until well coated, then pour into the pan before it starts to set up. Use parchment to press it down. Cut and serve after letting it cool.
