Ingredients
1 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c oats (regular)
1 1/2 sticks butter
36 caramels
5 Tbsp evaporated milk
3/4 c milk chocolate chips
Preparation
butter 9 x 13 pan
mix together flour, salt, baking soda, brown sugar and oats
melt butter and add to dry mixture.
pour 1/2 mixture into pan, pack tightly
bake 350˚ for 10 minutes
melt caramel and evaporated milk
sprinkle chocolate chips over baked mixture
pour caramel over baked mixture
top with remaining mixture
bake at 350˚ for 15 - 20 minutes or until brown on top
refrigerate before cutting.
