Ingredients

6 oz. Can evaporated milk

14 oz. Caramels

Box of German Chocolate cake mix

¾ C. Melted butter

1 C. Chopped pecans

6 oz. Chocolate chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350

  1. In double boiler add caramels and evaporated milk
  2. Combine melted butter, nuts and cake mix and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk.
  3. Grease and flour 9"x13" pan.
  4. Pat ½ cake mixture in bottom of pan.
  5. Bake for 6 minutes
  6. Add chocolate chips, caramel syrup and crumble remaining batter on top and cook 15 minutes or longer. Let them cool completely before cutting.
