Ingredients
One 64-ounce bottle of clear apple juice (Adam and Eve is very good)
1/3 cup whole green cardamom pods
Apple slices for garnish
Preparation
- Pour the juice into a non-reactive saucepan over medium heat. Add the pods and heat for an hour without simmering.
- Remove and cool. Pour the juice with the pods, back into the bottle and refrigerate overnight.
- To serve, strain into a glass pitcher and pour into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a thin slice of apple
