Ingredients

Base: 1 c flour, 1/2 c sugar, 8 T cold butter cut into 8 pieces,

1 3/4 c pecans roughly chopped

Caramel: 1 c heavy cream , 2/3c lt corn syrup, 2/3 c lt b sugar, 6 T sugar, 5 1/2 T butter 1/4 t salt , 1 t van.

Glaze: 1 oz bittersweet chocolate, 1 t veg oil

Preparation

8" sq baking pan sprayed 350 oven make base in FP, pat into pan, bake for 25", cool completely, sprinkle nuts on top and set aside Caramel: place all ing except van in pan, cook to 238, remove from heat, stir in vanilla, pour over base and cool. drizzle glaze over pan to make pattern, leave at rm temp for 1 hour before cutting.
