Ingredients
Per Pear, cored and cut in half:
1T unsalted butter
1T sugar (white)
1/6 c. whipping cream
Preparation
- Arrange Pears round side down in pan
- Distribute butter and sugar over pears.
- Bake 15 minutes at 375, Baste Pears
- Bake 10 more minutes - if tender, remove from pan
- Set pan over medium high heat stir until sauce caramelizes.
- Pour in cream, bring to boil. 7 Cook until sauce is smooth and rich caramel brown.
- Pour over pears.
