Ingredients

Per Pear, cored and cut in half:

1T unsalted butter

1T sugar (white)

1/6 c. whipping cream

Preparation

  1. Arrange Pears round side down in pan
  2. Distribute butter and sugar over pears.
  3. Bake 15 minutes at 375, Baste Pears
  4. Bake 10 more minutes - if tender, remove from pan
  5. Set pan over medium high heat stir until sauce caramelizes.
  6. Pour in cream, bring to boil. 7 Cook until sauce is smooth and rich caramel brown.
  7. Pour over pears.
