Ingredients
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
pinch of ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Preparation
In a saucepan melt butter with the brown sugar over medium heat. Stir frequently. When all sugar has dissolved, add soy sauce. Mix in cayenne and garlic salt.
For Salmon: Season 2-4 6 oz filets of salmon with salt and pepper. Place under broiler for approximately 10 minutes, or until top is slightly crispy and firm to the touch. Pour caramel mixture over salmon just before serving.
