Ingredients

1/2 C. butter

1 1/2 C. brown sugar

1/3 C. milk

4 C. sifted powdered sugar

Preparation

Melt butter in a sauce;an; stir in 1 1/2 C. brown sugar. Cook over low heat 2 min. Add 1/3 C. milk. Bring to a full boil. Remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm WITH OUT stirring. ADD 4 C. sifted powdered sugar; beat until of spreading consistency. Thin with milk, if necessary. Frost two 9" or 1 (9 x 13 “) cakes.
