Ingredients
2 cups brown sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups flour
Preparation
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add vanilla and baking powder, and then add flour slowly.
Bake in a greased 9x13 inch pan at 325 for about half an hour. Check with a toothpick in center. It will rise and fall before done and get a little cracked and wrinkly on the surface.
