Ingredients

2 sticks of butter

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1 tsp baking soda

1 bag puffed corn or popcorn

Disposable roasting pan

Preparation

Preheat oven to 250 Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil in small saucepan for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add baking soda. It will foam up. Put bag of puffed corn in throw away roasting pan. Pour caramel mixture evenly over puffed corn and stir until well coated. Place in 250 oven for 45 minutes, but stir well after 15 minutes and then again every 10 minutes. Pour on to waxed paper and break apart.
