Ingredients
1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1.5 Sticks Butter
2/3 Cup Evaporated Milk
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
6 oz. Chocolate Chips
14 oz. Caramels
Preparation
Melt butter & 1/3 cup evaporated milk together.
Beat into cake mix.
Add walnuts.
Put 1/2 cake mixture in bottom of greased 7" x 12" pan.
Bake @ 350° for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven & sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Melt caramels with the other 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Pour over chocolate chips.
Place rest of cake mixture on top (you may have to drop on in dollops, mixture is no longer smooth).
Bake 20-25 minutes longer. Cool & cut into squares.
