Ingredients
6-8 Yams
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup water
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 package marshmallows (not jet puffed)
Preparation
Cut off ends peel, slice and cook yams (better if a little under cooked) boil for 25 minutes. Place sliced yams into casserole dish. Meanwhile cook everything else (except marshmallows)in a pan until smooth and bubbly. Poor over the sliced yams and then cover with the marshmallows and bake uncovered in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
