Ingredients

4T. corn syrup

4 T. sugar

3/4 t. kosher salt

1/4 t. Worcestershire sauce

1/4 t. Angostura Bitters

1/4 t. Cayenne pepper

1/4 t. Chinese 5 Spice

1/8 t. Ground Cumin

a little water to help the ingredients mix (about 1 T.)

2 c. shelled nuts (enough to get well-coated with above without liquid pooling)

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix all ingredients except nuts.
  • Add nuts and mix gently to coat.
  • Spread thinly on cookie sheet and cook at 350 degrees for 5 min.
  • Stir to coat.
  • Cook about 10 more minutes until bubbly.
  • Turn out onto foil and separate so the nuts cool individually.
