Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

pinch salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds

1/2 cup chopped candied ginger

Preparation

Set oven to 350 degrees F. Butter cookie sheets, or put silicone pads on baking sheets.

Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat the egg and add to the butter and sugar mixture. Add the chocolate chips, dried cranberries, almonds and ginger. Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon, and add to the other ingredients, mixing well. Arrange by heaping teaspoonsful on cookie sheets. Bake about 12 minutes, or until delicately brown.
