Ingredients
1 # calamari rings
2/3 cup Wondra
salt
pepper
Vegetable oil
1/3 cup honey
1/2 tsp Wasabi
1-2 splashes 1/2 and 1/2
2 squeezes lemon
Preparation
Mix the Wondra, salt and pepper. Dredge the calamari in the mixture and shake off excess in a strainer. Fry a little at a time in hot vegetable oil. Set aside.
Mix the Wasabi in the honey and add Wasabi until the taste is sweet with a little heat, not bitter. Then add 1 or 2 splashes of 1/2 and 1/2 and mix. The color should be light yellow. Add a few squeezes of lemon and drizzle over the calamari. Delicious!!
