Ingredients

1 1/2 C Flour

1 C Sugar or baking substitute

1 t Baking Soda

3T Cocoa

1/2 t Salt

6 T Cooking Oil

1 T Vinegar

1 T Vanilla

1 C Cold Water

Preparation

Sift or mix all dry ingredients into an ungreased 8" sq pan. Make 3 holes and put vanilla, vinegar and oil in one each of the holes. Cover all with the water. Stir well till blended. Bake 350degrees F 35-40 min. Invert to cool and remove and eat or wrap in plastic to stay fresh.

Side note: if you use a round silicone pan like I did last time reduce the time by at least 5 min or start at 30 min and test with a toothpick if the pick comes clean at the center it’s done.
