Ingredients
1 package cake mix– lemon and funfetti are favorites, others will work as well
4 ½ oz.(2 cups) whipped topping, or 8 tablespoons sour cream + 2 teaspoons water
1 egg, beaten
powdered sugar
Preparation
Blend together cake mix, whipped topping, and egg. (For best results, use electric mixer because dough will be very sticky.) Roll 1 rounded teaspoon of cookie dough in powdered sugar, using two teaspoons to scoop and shape the dough. Make sure the balls of dough are completely covered in powdered sugar. Larger cookies will taste more cake-y than smaller ones. Place on cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
