Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
3 oz. pure dark chocolate
1 cup Splenda
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chopped pecan or walnuts
Preparation
- Melt butter and chocolate over low heat in saucepan, then remove from heat and cool.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8x2-inch pan and set aside. Stir sugar into cooled chocolate mixture in saucepan. Add eggs one at a time, beating with a wooden spoon until combined. Stir in vanilla.
- Into a small mixing bowl stir together the flour and baking soda. Add flour mixture to choclate mixture and stir until combined. Stir in nuts. Spread the batter in prepared pan.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for approx. 30 min and firm to light touch. Cut into 16 bars.
