Ingredients

3/4 c. oil

1 med onion, finely chopped

2 T cajun seasoning

6 garlic cloves, minced

2 t ground cumin

1 t minced rosemary

1 t thyme, fresh

2 #s shrimp peeled /deveined

Cajun Butter

1 c. butter, cubed

1 t basil, fresh

1 t fresh tarragon

1 t cajun seasoning

1/2 t garlic powder

3 drops hot pepper sauce

Preparation

In small bowl, combine first seven ingredients. Place shrimp in resealable bag, add half of marinade. seal bag and turn to coat, refrigerate for 1-2 hrs,cover remaining sauce for basting In small saucepan, combine cajun butter ingredients, heat until butter is melted, Keep warm, Drain and discard marinade. Thread shrimp onto eight metal or soaked wood skewers, Grill over medium heat for 2-4 min on ea side or until they turn pink, basting once with reserved marinade, serve
