Ingredients
4 ounces pasta of your choice
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
3 teaspoons seasonall(or to taste)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
4 ounces sliced mushrooms
2-3 thinly sliced green onion
2 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
hot sauce
Preparation
In a large pot with boiling salted water cook pasta until al dente; drain.
While the pasta is cooking, place chicken, hot sauce, and Cajun seasoning in a bowl and toss to coat.
In a large skillet over medium heat saute chicken in butter until chicken is tender.
Add green and red bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, garlic and onions, saute til tender.
Reduce heat; add heavy cream, basil, lemon pepper, salt, garlic powder and pepper and heat through.
In a large bowl toss linguini with sauce.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
