Ingredients
1 cabbage finely chopped
1 quarter red onion finely chopped
1 bundle cilantro finely chopped
1 28 ounce can picked jalapenos
2 tablespoons oregano
4 tomatoes deseeded and chopped (optional)
salt to taste
vinegar for babies
Preparation
- mix onion cilantro and cabbage
- separate jalapeño juice from the jalapenos, save juice
- chop jalapenos and add to cabbage mix
- pour pickle juice over cabbage and mix
- set for 2 hours
- add oregano tomatoes and salt and remix.
- If needed add half a cup of white vinegar to pickled juice.
