Ingredients

1 Lb. shredded red cabbage

2 shredded scallions or

1 small chopped red onion

3 Oz. slivered almonds

3 Oz. sesame seeds (not toasted)

1 small can mandarin orange sections drained.

Dress with:

1/2 C. olive oil

6 T. sugar

6 T. rice vinegar of

5 T. white vinegar

1/2 t. salt

1/4 t. black pepper

Toss and top salad bowel with layer of thin chow mein noodles.

Serve immediately.

Preparation

Toss first 5 ingredients. Prepare dressing and toss salad with dressing. Top with thin layer of thin chow mein noodles. Serve immdiatley.
