Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, and beat well until butter mixture is creamy. Add vanilla, and beat until mixed. Combine flour and salt. Slowly (maybe a 1/4 cup at a time) add to butter mixture.
Roll out on a lightly floured surface. (If rolling pin sticks to the dough, flour it as well.) Cut out with cookie cutters of choice, and decorate at will!
