Ingredients
1-and half cups Bread flour, or all-purpose flour
2-teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup salted butter
2-Cups golden brown sugar
2- eggs
1-teaspooon pure vanilla extract
For the Frosting:
2-teaspoons butter
1-Cup Powdered sugar
pinch of salt
1-teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees,
Grease 9x13 baking pan,
In a small bowl, sift together dry ingredients. In a medium microwave safe bowl, melt butter. Add sugar, mix well, stir in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet, mixing well.
Scrape batter into greased baking pan, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Test with a cake tester or knife, blade should come out clean with just a few crumbs clinging to it.
Frosting:
In a small sauce pan; melt butter on med/high heat until golden brown, add powdered sugar, pinch of salt and some hot water to thin frosting to a pourable consistancy (not too much water) frost brownies while still warm.
