Ingredients

1 cup raisins

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons butter

1 egg, lightly beaten

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

chopped nuts

Preparation

cover raisins with boiling water, cover and set aside.

Strain raisins add butter and brown sugar cover till the butter is melted.

add egg and nuts, stir well, add the vanilla.

Fill 12 tart shells.

Bake 350 -400 till the pastry is golden around the edges.
