Ingredients

1 16-ounce Ribeye

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic

salt and pepper

Preparation

Set the ribeye on its fatty edge over medium heat for about 5 minutes to render some of the fat. Tip the steak on one side, cook for 5 mins, turn over and cook for 3 mins more.

Add the butter and garlic. Put it back on the side that cooked the least for 6 mins. While it is cooking, sprinkle with salt and baste constantly with butter. Flip and cook for 3 mins, sprinkle with salt, basting continually with butter.

Let rest for about 5 mins and slice.
