Ingredients
1 1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add milk, butter and vanilla. Beat with mixer on low until combined. Beat on medium speed for 1 minute. Pour batter into a greased and floured 8 x 1 1/2 inch round baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Frost with favorite frosting while warm.
