Ingredients
1/2 cup bulgur wheat or tabbouleh
1 carrot, grated
1 onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup mushrooms (any mushrooms), finely chopped
1/2 cup firm tofu, grated
1 tablespoon soya sauce
1/2 tablespoon hot sauce
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
oil for cooking
Preparation
- Clean and wash the Bulgur Wheat thoroughly. Soak it in one cup of hot water for 4 minutes, drain and Keep aside.
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl except the oil and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts and shape into patties.
- Grillthe patties on a grill or shallow fry using a little oil in a non-stick pan, cooking on both sides till golden brown in colour.
