Ingredients
2 c. buckwheat flour
1 T. cornstarch
4 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
3 T. cooking oil
Preparation
Combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt and pepper; sift together in a bowl. Combine milk, egg and oil; beat. Add to dry ingredients; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Drop tablespoonfuls of mixture into simmering stew. Cover pan lightly. Cook until done (about 15 minutes) without lifting cover.
