Ingredients

2 c margarine

2 pound jar (32 oz) creamy peanut butter

2 1/4- 2 1/2 pounds confectioners sugar

2 1/2 lb milk chocolate

Preparation

combine margarine, peanut butter, and confectioners sugar. shape into walnut-sized balls. insert a toothpick into the center of each ball. freeze overnight.

melt chocolate (i just use chocolate chips) in double boiler, stirring often. (adding a tablespoon or two of shortening will help keep chocolate from getting too thick.

dip frozen balls into melted chocolate, leave the area around the toothpick uncovered to resemble a buckeye. place on wax paper to dry. remove toothpick. smooth over toothpick hole with moistened finger tip. store in cool place or freezer.
