Ingredients
1/2 c butter, softened
1 c sugar
4 beaten eggs
1 16 oz can chocolate syrup
1 c flour
1/2 c walnuts (optional)
6 tbsp milk
6 tbsp butter
1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 semi-sweet chocolate chips
splash of vanilla
Preparation
Beat together butter and sugar then add eggs and syrup. Mix in flour and nuts. Spread in 9X13 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Meanwhile make frosting. Put the milk, 6 tbsp butter and sugar in small saucepan. Bring to boil and let boil for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla. Pour over slightly cooled brownies, let stand for 1 hour to let frosting set (or dig in and beware the mess!)
