Ingredients
1 1/3 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chopped walnuts
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13 in pan.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In large bowl beat together butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in the flour mixture and the nuts until well blended. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake 25-30 min or until surface springs back when gently pressed. Cool slightly. While still warm, cut into bars with a sharp knife.
