Ingredients

1 cup brown rice

2 5/8 cup water

Preparation

Place rice in sauce pan. Rinse rice and rub to remove extra starch. Poor off excess water.

Add 2 5/8 cup water to rice.

Place on stovetop uncovered. Set heat on medium high. Boil until water level reduces to top of rice, about 15-18 minutes.

Cover pan. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes without removing lid.

Turn heat off. Let sit for 10 more minutes without removing cover.
