Ingredients

20 ounces frozen, chopped broccoli cooked according to package directions and drained; 1 small vidalia onion, diced; 1 stick butter; 1 cup grated sharp cheddar; 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz); 1 cup cream of mushroom condensed soup; 1 cup mayonnaise; 2 pinches each of salt, pepper, and garlic powder

Topping:

1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz) and 2 Tablespoons melted butter

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350*. Cook broccoli according to directions and drain. Meanwhile, sautee’ onion in butter until tender. Add onion to broccoli. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a large casserole dish. Sprinkle on top a mixture of 1 cup crushed buttery (Ritz) crackers mixed with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Bake 20 minutes uncovered.
