Ingredients
Dressing:
2 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Salad:
4 cups fresh broccoli florets
1/2 cup raisins
8 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup slivered toasted almonds
1/2 red onion, sliced
1/4 cup each sunflower seeds, dried cranberries
Preparation
Whisk eggs, sugar, cornstarch & dry mustard. Add vinegar & water and cook until thickened. Remove from heat & stir in mayonnaise. Cool.
Pour cooled dressing over broccoli. Let sit for several hours. Add remaining ingredients and toss.
