Ingredients
8 slices bacon
1 medium bunch broccoli
1/2 small sweet onion finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup dates
1 cup salad dressing
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Preparation
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble into small pieces. Using only the florets and the most tender stem sections of the broccoli. Chop broccoli into small pieces. Combine broccoli, onion, celery, dates in a bowl.
In a small bowl mix together remaining indredients. Mix well and add bacon. Pour dressing over salad and toss. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
