Ingredients

1 large head broccoli washed, florets only-drained dry

1 cup chopped red sweet onion

½ cup white raisins

½ cup chopped pecans (toasting optional)

½ lb. bacon fried crisp and crumbled

DRESSING

2 TBSP. red wine vinegar

¾ cup mayonnaise

½ cup sugar

Preparation

In a large bowl combine salad ingredients. Mix dressing. Pour over mixture. Refrigerate overnight and toss when ready to serve.

  • I add pecans right before serving so they don’t get soggy, as well as the bacon.
