Ingredients
1lb pasta fuscilli, penne or one to hold sauce
1/2 cup good (fruity) olive oil
full head garlic
2 cups fresh basil
bunch broccoli
1/4 cup parmasean cheese (optional)
1/4-1/2 cup pinenuts (optional)
Preparation
start water to boil for pasta
chop boccoli fine (food processor works best)
make pesto with garlic, basil, olive oil, parm and pinenuts blend till smooth paste in small processor
cook past according to package directions
add a little oil to med high heat, lightly saute broccoli - 3min? watch not to stick.
add cooked pasta and pesto to broccoli with a little pasta water depending how much sauce you want.
