Ingredients
1 Package Kielbasa Sausage
1 Jar Sauerkraut
1 Stick Margarine
2 Cups Brown Sugar
2 Small Granny Smith Apples
1/2 White Onion
4 Medium Potatoes
Preparation
Peel potatoes.
Boil potatoes in large pot for 15 minutes or until tender.
Drain potatoes and leave in pot.
Cut slices of apples and onion.
Melt half a stick of margarine in a pan.
Place sauerkraut, apples, and onions in buttered pan.
Add brown sugar on top.
Mix everything and sautee until sauerkraut is browned and onions clear.
When about halfway done, melt the other half of the margarine stick into the sauerkraut mix.
Cut kielbasa sausages into small slices.
Brown kielbasa slices while sauerkraut mix is sauteeing.
Once sauerkraut mix and kielbasa slices are done, mix them all in the pot with the potatoes.
Continue cooking entire mix on medium for about 5-10 minutes and mix everything together.
