Ingredients

10-12 eggs

3 cups of milk

1 tsp mustard

8 oz shredded cheese (cheddar)

6 cups cubed bread

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp salt

optional: mushrooms, tomato, onion, broccoli

Preparation

Heat oven to 325* Combine eggs, milk, mustard, salt & pepper

distribute half the bread evenly in a buttered 9x13 pan

spread half the optional ingredients and half the cheese

repeat layering using the remaining ingredients

pour egg mixture slowly and evenly over the casserole.

let sit for at least 5-10 minutes (or overnight)

bake uncovered 55-60 minutes until set.
