Ingredients

1 lb; sweet/cinnamon bread … cut in bite-size pieces

10; large eggs

4 cups; whole milk

2 cups; heavy whipping cream

2 cups; sugar or cooking sweetener

2 tsp; vanilla extract

1 cup; raisins

ground cinnamon

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together completely, except cinnamon.

Use a baking dish no more than 3" deep.

Lightly butter bottom and sides of baking dish.

Transfer mixture to baking dish, leaving at least 3/4 inch for mixture to rise during cooking.

Cover & refrigerate 2-3 hours.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake pudding, uncovered 1-1.5 hours (or until risen with golden brown top).

Lightly sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover and allow to cool (when slightly fallen).

Serve with desire topping at slightly warm temperature.
