Ingredients

-3-4 pieces of white bread

-Coconut

-Golden Raisins

-Pecan pieces

-1 egg

-1/2 C sugar

-1 3/4 C milk

-1 t vanilla

Preparation

  1. Butter a 1 quart casserole dish
  2. Break bread into pieces and layer at the bottom of the dish
  3. Sprinkle coconut, raisins and pecans over the top
  4. In a separate bowl, beat 1 egg, then add sugar, milk and vanilla, then pour the mixture over bread
  5. Put slices of butter on top and bake at 350º for 35-45 minutes, or until lightly brown
